CAL2CAL’s strategic focus in the Healthcare sector has provided us with extensive
domain knowledge of Health Information Systems. CAL2CAL’s strategic focus on the
utility of mobile applications, health monitoring tools and standards based integration
infrastructural engines in the Healthcare sector enables the company to assist and
empower large scale projects for efficient and effective management of healthcare
issues.
CAL2CAL’s expertise in designing and developing public health management systems
are an ongoing effort to expedite the consolidation of critical clinical and public
health data across diverse scenarios. This effort will ultimately result in providing
a synchronized view of health data and resources across all program areas for healthcare
providers. CAL2CAL is a corporate member of HL7 and is one of the early adopters
of HL7 Version 3 and is also actively involved with system development under CDC’s
(Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, USA) PHIN (Public Health Information
Network) initiative. CAL2CAL has architected and designed the Public Health Information
Network (BT-PHIN) infrastructure at Los Angeles County Department of Public Health
and is providing project management, development and implementation support to the
project. The primary objectives of this project are to integrate public health information
available within County, enhance the capacity for health surveillance, and provide
tools for detection and management of disease outbreaks, and executive dashboard
and decision support. CAL2CAL is also key member in the project management team
providing architectural guidance and networking and security support of the California
Statewide Immunization Information System project. This project will utilize standard
messaging protocols as published by Health Level Seven (HL7) and refined in implementation
guides maintained by the American Immunization Registries Association (AIRA).
To help achieve all these we have a team of IT and healthcare domain specialists
working in different aspects of e-Health systems development and evaluation. Our
experts are located across the globe (in USA, UK, Canada, Australia and India) and
provide a wide variety of global experience. As mentioned earlier, we have offices
